For roughly the first twenty minutes, our QTAC fire skid, working alongside a firefighting helicopter, was what allowed us to keep the fire contained until additional resources could reach us. Had we not had the fire skid, we firmly believe the fire would have crossed an access road and continued through open fields toward an adjoining neighborhood.
