The QTAC™ 55T is designed to fit seamlessly in the back of utility troubleman trucks, and will also fit almost any small- to- mid-sized pick up bed. The 55T features an 55-gallon, welded-copolymer tank, max-73 GPM pump with a 2.1-horsepower Honda GHX50 engine, 75-feet of 3/4″ hose and, like all of the QTAC products, the ability to draft out of an auxiliary water source like a pool or creek. It's main purpose is to pre-treat dry ground prior to work operations or suppress small fires before larger support apparatus can get on scene.

The 55T is ready for the rigors of a demanding work environment. Our PolyTough™ tank and optional protective cage means the 55T can take abuse and still be ready to perform when it's time. Although the QTAC 55T has plenty of suppression power when needed, it can be readily choked down for extended mop-up work, especially with the standard brass bulls-eye nozzle and shut-off valve. This combination provides an excellent range of spray patterns, from a fine mist for controlling the edge of a prescribed burn, to an open-bore stream that can reach over 55-feet in length. With the optional high-out Viper nozzle on a 1-inch flat-lay hose, the 55T produces a water stream nearly 75 feet in length.
